Bleaching

Dentists have been removing stains from patients' teeth and lightening teeth since the late 1800's.

There are three ways to bleach your teeth. Over the counter, dental office trays, and dental office one-hour power-bleaching. Although there are many over-the-counter remedies available now, the best and safest way to bleach your teeth is to use Sapphire’s home tray system, or one-hour in office power bleaching in combination with trays. Some over-the-counter systems have been shown to be acidic in nature and cause potential problems. Sapphire’s formula has been shown to be safe and effective for many years.

We fabricate a custom bleaching tray, which fits your teeth comfortably. You may wear it anywhere from an hour to overnight. Many of our patients have experienced fantastic lightening results and are very pleased.

The newest chairside bleach offers quick in-office bleaching for those of you interested in a faster result. This is power bleaching where you sit in the dental office for one hour (or less) and on average your teeth get ten shades lighter.

If you have any questions or are interested in bleaching, don’t hesitate to call the office and ask any of us! Call us at (805) 925-8767.
